There are bucket fulls of schadenfreude – taking delight in your enemy’s troubles – from those who supported the ARC tunnel under the Hudson River, as they watch Gov. Chris Christie get impaled on being mean over restrictions on a bridge across that same river, in order to get back at a non-supporter in an adjacent town. I have to admit I feel some of this myself. I was a big supporter of the ARC tunnel, and by killing it, Gov. Christie sacrificed his state’s future. He clearly did it for political reasons: yet he didn’t suffer for it. Not fair. Now he is getting some just desserts.
